Bob's Daily Tip

Learn To Ride A Straight Line - One essential cycling skill is being able to ride in a straight line. It's especially important on group rides where this skill ensures that you don't run into ride partners and that they feel comfortable riding behind you in a paceline. Also, since the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, you become more efficient the less you wobble. To practice, try to ride a line parallel to but three to six inches away from the white line. Hold it as steady as you can, focusing on pedaling smoothly, relaxing your upper body and minimizing unnecessary upper body movement. With practice, you'll be riding like you're on a rail in no time!
